Read the wind, convert to a hold or a dial, apply it. Windage is the harder half of long-range shooting because the wind isn’t constant between you and the target — it can be doing one thing at the muzzle, another at the bullet’s apex, another at the target.

Most precision shooters hold for wind rather than dial, because wind can shift between shots and you don’t want to chase a moving turret.
